Everybody Say Yeah! Kinky Boots Wins 2014 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album

Raise it up and say yeah because Kinky Boots took home the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater album at the 56th Annual event on January 26. The Tony-winning musical beat out the cast albums of Motown the Musical and Matilda for the top prize. The Kinky Boots win is shared by composer/lyricist Cyndi Lauper, lead performers Billy Porter and Stark Sands and album producers Lauper, Sammy James Jr., Stephen Oremus and William Wittman. The show continues to high kick to sold-out crowds at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.
